[1] This amount was around $1,250 less than the anticipated amount of approximately $5,500 which had been discussed and unanimously approved by the Board in the September, 1998 Board Meeting. The change came upon the action of the Advisory Board Chair based on a recommendation by the Dayton YMCA CEO with the intent to strengthen the fund's growth.

[2] $5,000 came from the The Carl B. Kern Fund and $1,000 was contributed as a gift from Friends of Kern, Inc. to assist the Fund with
completing its pledge.

[3] $4,384 came from the The Carl B. Kern Fund and $2,300 was contributed as gifts from Kern Fund Advisory Board members to assist with the pledge.

[4] $4,522 came from the The Carl B. Kern Fund and $1,300 was contributed as gifts from Kern Fund Advisory Board members to assist with the pledge.

[5] $4,775 came from the The Carl B. Kern Fund and $1,800 was contributed as gifts from Kern Fund Advisory Board members to assist with the pledge.

[6] $5,121 came from the The Carl B. Kern Fund and $800 was contributed as gifts from Kern Fund Advisory Board members to complete the pledge.
