After driving down Camp road (wow, it has speed bumps now ), I park, get
out of my car and hear " Jim...how the squat are you?". With that greeting
from Stuart I am home again. What a great time seeing those that you haven't
seen for many years and picking up where you left off.
And how about seeing old campers now chasing their kids around the lodge.
Many of these kids will soon be going to camp. It was also good to see those
who were there before I was. Some were new names to me, others have had
stories passed down about them. It was good to put a face to the story.
Iwant to thank Camp Kern for the wonderful turkey and everyone else for the
great variety of good food.
I would encourage those who read this to try to make to one of these events,
it was fantastic.
here are some moments from the day
Bonnie and Ginny,
"all of the cabins have air conditioning ?!?!",
Stuart can you help me with this lanyard,
Mike L.boys do like hot chocolate,
can you believe Camp has a cappucino machine?
I've rambled on enough, have a wonderful Thanksgiving
Jim Rannes
