DATE: Sunday, October 15, 1995
TIME: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Program Abstract

Pediatricians spend much of their time and effort providing medical advice to parents and patients. Patient education videos, computer games, and other medical education multimedia can be powerful teaching tools when pragmatically implemented in clinical settings. Interactive health education software and video multimedia have the benefits of compliance and self-management skills. Numerous physician education titles are also available. A panel of experts will present and demonstrate current approaches for using and evaluating multimedia programs in medical education and clinical practice. A question-and-answer dialogue will follow.
